Welcome to the leading edge of metabolic health for women
Meet Your guide + Metabolic Expert; Heathar Shepard
a place you can finally get the support you need
We know you’ve been around the block. You’ve seen functional docs, nurse practitioners, naturopaths, acupuncturists, and even opted for a good ol’ Shamanic cleansing (ayahuasca ceremony, anyone?). You’ve been devoted and dedicated to healing, but something is still off, right? (And it’s okay, you can be fed up about it.) You’re still tired, sluggish, moody, and are even developing more serious conditions. Why isn’t anything working? And more importantly, how hard should it be to feel good?
Truthfully, it’s kind of hard. Not because of anything you’re doing - it’s not your fault. But because there is so much misinformation in the healthcare field. Influencers allure you into biohacks and carnivore dieting—a panacea, of course. Studies are funded by pharmaceutical companies and tested on rats and male bodies.
What about the menstruating woman? The breastfeeding woman? The peri-menopausal woman? Our bodies require different care because our hormonal systems are complex. We need practitioners who look at the thyroid, hormones, and address the root issues.
A Framework For Real Healing
The guidance you'll find here is rooted in decades of study, clinical experience, and relentless curiosity. Drawing from disciplines including Homeopathy, Classical Chinese Medicine, Quantum Biology, and the pioneering work of biologist and physiologist Dr Ray Peat—whose research focused on metabolism, thyroid function, hormones, and cellular energy—Heathar has developed a unique approach to women's health.
Rather than chasing disease diagnoses, her work addresses the underlying physiology that keeps so many women trapped in chronic stress, exhaustion, hormonal imbalance, and burnout. The result is a comprehensive framework designed to help the female body restore metabolic function, rebuild resilience, and create the conditions for genuine, lasting healing.
Don’t take it from us, take it from your body. The best and easiest way to get a baseline for how you’re doing is to start tracking your thyroid. It’s simple and super affordable. You can do it at home. It only requires one thing: a thermometer. Download the test guide below to get started. Then, get back to us with your results, and we’ll take it from there. You’re not alone in any of this - we’ve got you.
About Heathar
In 2006, Heathar suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury during an unexpected car accident, changing her life forever. Once a Division One athlete, she found herself unable to work out, train professional athletes, and even struggled to leave the house. Heathar turned to all kinds of different healing modalities, ranging from Chinese medicine and acupuncture, Qi Gong, radionics, Quantum Biology, Homeopathic Medicine, and most recently, her research and work with biologist and physiologist Dr. Ray Peat and British physician and hormone expert Dr. Katharina Dalton.
Through two decades of research, Heathar offers invaluable support to women, their metabolic health, hormones, and nervous systems. Heathar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Jacksonville State University, a Master’s education in Classical Chinese Medicine from NCNM, and a Master’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine from the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy, bringing both scientific and energetic perspectives to her work.
Outside of her clinical work, Heathar lives with her wife on their small farm in northern New Mexico, where they raise dairy cows and steward the land. Farming has deepened her belief that health begins with real food, healthy soil, and a meaningful connection to the natural world—principles that shape the foundation of her work with women today.

Client Feedback
“I’ve had challenges from type 1 diabetes, to Hashimotos, to constipation for decades and have been frustrated by experiences with Western medicine. It was easy to book an appointment with Heathar, and she doesn’t ask you to waste your money spending hundreds of dollars on unhelpful tests and supplements. I was quickly able to get off my expensive magnesium supplement for constipation, and my A1C is the lowest it’s ever been, with much more stable blood sugars.
I loved working with Heathar so much, I referred my sister and aunt to her as well. My sister’s goal was to get off her medication for Grave’s disease and kidney stones – mission accomplished! My aunt’s goal was to get off Miralax, which we are still working on, but the remedy produced explosive results for her. I feel fortunate to have Heathar’s help, and hope others have the fortune to find her as well.”—B.W.
1:1 Guidance from heathar
One-on-one consultations with Heathar are a powerful place to begin reclaiming your health. Hormonal imbalances and thyroid dysfunction are incredibly common among women today, yet they are often overlooked, misunderstood, or dismissed in conventional healthcare. Many women are left feeling exhausted, burned out, and disconnected from their bodies without clear answers.
In these personalized sessions, Heathar works with you to explore the deeper contributors to your symptoms—looking closely at nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and the foundations that support hormonal and metabolic health. Together, you begin to understand what your body is asking for and how to nourish it back toward balance.
For many women, this work becomes the first step in restoring energy, supporting thyroid and hormone health, and reconnecting with a sense of vitality and well-being.
